Below are books that I have actually read which inform my work as a coach who helps clients declutter their homes and hearts.
My current foci revolves around organizing, parenting, self-help, and business. For fiction I enjoy reading sci-fi for its pure escapism.

Dr. Shefali's latest book "Raising Conscious Daughters" was another wake-up call for me since I didn't quite understand how society is designed to destroy a young woman for the toxic patriarchy. Her book also prodded at some of my childhood pain growing up as a daughter (still am), and things are still hurting and unresolved. This book is going to stay front and center as part of my parenting journey and coaching practice.
Dr. Shefali's latest book "Raising Conscious Sons" took me on a journey into the young boy's psyche and shed a light on the deep inner longings of young men. It was eye-opening and sometimes I got really mad at how toxic patriarchy has also made boys suffer. I will definitely refer back to this constantly as I raise my son and as I continue to coach others.
I have read and re-read this book to give me inspiration to get organized when I kind of don't feel like it. The method is dead simple but doesn't mean it is easy.
The groundbreaking book by Dr. Shefali dives into detail about what makes a Conscious Parent and why we need it more than ever in our modern world. Admittedly I've only read it halfway through because I gifted my copy to a friend, but because I have taken Dr. Shefali's coaching course many of the concepts are familiar to me.

This is the reference guide for Marie's first book, abbreviated philosophy but expanded in the method, with illustrated step-by-step folding instructions.
This book bridges the gap between KonMari Method and becoming a more conscious worker bee, through listening to your inner voice you can filter out the crap and start a journey to a more joy filled work life.
A graphic novel that brings to life the concepts and results of the KonMari Method. Follow along as Marie helps a young lady declutter her home.
I quite enjoyed the deep dive into Japanese culture and the philosophy that guides Marie and her work. It was thought provoking and inspiring!
I read this book at the launch of my coaching business in 2025, and it's been dog-eared, tabbed, referred to over and over again since then. As to today, I've gotten the networking thing by joining my local BNI chapter.

I saw Mimi speak about the power of empathy in the workplace and obviously how it spills over into the rest of our lives. If we can stop acting like greedy robots at work and lead with empathy, I think the world could change for the better!
I attended a breakout session hosted by Jeffrey Gitomer and plan to read his bestseller "Little Red Book of Selling" so I can make more sales in my coaching business.
"The Sales Bible" was listed as one of "The Ten Books Every Salesperson Should Own and Read" by the Dale Carnegie Sales Advantage Program.
